So what's this all about?

PixelClique.com is a site for advanced digital photography. There are two parts: wiki and forum. Both represent a body of knowledge from those involved in advanced (e.g. DSLR, medium format) digital photography. You can look at most everything without registering (except 18+ areas.) Free registration, subject to moderator approval, is required to contribute. Right now we're looking for contributors for the wiki.

Contributions to the wiki can be anything from a short definition to a tutorial. These entries are on a strictly volunteer basis, and no self-serving posts, though you can have a link-back to your web site through your profile.

The forum is more dynamic, where you can ask questions or just share your recent work and ask for comments and criticism.

What's in a name?

A pixel is the smallest piece of information in a digital image.

A clique is an exclusive group of people who share interests, views, and purposes. Clique is pronounced the same way as "click" which can mean to take a photo or click the mouse.

This site is designed for people who want more than point-and-shoot results from their digital photography.
